Wishing You Everything Happy

Now that it’s summer vacation I have time to play! YAY! And it just so happens that I learned a new to me glitter technique today that I had to try out. I dug deep into my stash of stuff that has yet to be used for this card using MFT’s Happy Everything stamp set and Die-namics Happy Duo. I used Stick It Die Cut Adhesive to add adhesive to my die cut and then burnished it with holographic silver extra fine glitter from Michael’s. I thought this could stand up to some bright patterned paper so I grabbed the rainbow stripe paper from Taylored Expressions Rainbow Brights 6×6 paper pack and die cut a piece using the background die from MFT’s Blueprints 13. The balloons are cut from TE’s Lollipop and Lemon Meringue cardstock using MFT’s Die-namics Balloon STAX. I added a bit of white Doodle twine and some iridescent colored sequins from Simon Says Stamp.

It was hard to get a good photo of how sparkly the glitter is but this was about as close as I could get. 🙂
