Wishing You the Best Day Ever
Hi everyone! This week we are celebrating Taylored Expressions 11th Birthday!! We have a bunch of birthday themed goodies to share with you this week ending on release day on Thursday (at 9 am CST.).
Today I have two quick projects to share with you using some fun new goodies. First up is this very quick card using Party Pennants Background and Simple Strips – Birthday. I started by stamping the Party Pennants Background stamp on Toffee cardstock with Toffee ink. I then colored the pennants with soft colors of Copic markers.
Next I stamped the Simple Strips – Birthday stamp on Lollipop cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with white TE embossing powder. I die cut the sentiments and picked five to layer on my card. I stacked them in wonky lines and popped the last one up on foam tape.

My second project is another clean and simple birthday card using the Gifted Background. I stamped this background on Toffee cardstock with Mushroom ink and used Copics to color the gifts. I then used a white gel pen to color different parts of the gifts.
The sentiment I used is from Birthday Basics stamped on Toffee cardstock with Mushroom ink. I die cut the sentiment with Stitched Oval Stacklets and matted it with Petite Scallop Oval Stacklets. I added a twine bow and popped the sentiment up on foam tape. I trimmed the bottom of the background panel a little short and added a Peaches n Cream strip at the bottom.
