I have another card to share today that I made last night using Sending and Wishing along with the coordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp. I’ve been seeing these stamps and dies EVERYWHERE and had to get them.
I kept my card very simple. I created a watercolor background by lightly wetting the center of the paper with clear water and then dabbing colors of watercolor around the center of the paper in rainbow order. After this dried I die cut the word Wishing out of the center, keeping all of the inside pieces. I also die cut the word out of black cardstock and in-layed that piece inside the water color paper being sure the replace the small watercolor pieces. Next I stamped You Were Here in MFT Hybrid Black Ink. I die cut the little heart using Heart Stacklets from Taylored expressions and coated it with Glossy Accents to give it dimension and shine.
Lastly I mounted the whole thing on a horizontal A2 cardbase with foam tape.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Sending and Wishing (Simon Says Stamp)
Ink: Black Licorice Hybrid Ink (MFT)
Paper: Oreo cardstock (Taylored Expressions), Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Paper
Accessories: Koi Watercolors (Sakura), Sending and Wishing dies (SSS), Heart Stacklets (Taylored Expressions), foam tape, Big Shot, 1″ sable paint brush
Thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous card, Jen! Love the beautiful water colored background and in-layed sentiment!
I love it. Is the “Wishing” not actually glued in, just pressed?
Hi,
What kind of watercolor did you use for a card like this? Paints or markers or..?
Thanks!
Really neat background. Love your card.
Jen, I can see why your card made it to the “spotted” post this week…just gorgeous!
I had to come over from the Spotted feature on SSS to tell you how much I adore this card, Jen! I’m pinning and will be CASEing this asap!! Thank you for the inspiration!! Hugs, Darnell
Popped over from SSS to say how much I like your card. Beautiful watercoloring!
Totally yummy colors on this, Jen! Congrats on being “spotted” over at SSS!
Is the inlay glued to something or does it just “set” in the diecut? This is so pretty.
