Taylored Expressions January Sneak Peeks!

Sarcasti-Chuck punny/humor handmade card

Hi everyone! Today is the first day of Taylored Expressions January Sneak Peeks. This month we are doing things a little different and release day will be TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 7th so EVERYTHING in the release will be featured over the next two days with more project ideas following on Wednesday and Thursday.

My first project features a brand new addition to the Sarcasti-Chick line…. Sarcasti-Chuck. He’s the adorable counterpart to the sassy Sarcasti-Chick. Like Sarcasti-chick he has his own wardrobe and sentiment sets.

For my card I dressed him up a lot like my husband (I’m pretty sure he owns that shirt and those shorts) and then paired him up with a funny sentiment and distressed background.

You are Loved, handmade valentine by Jen Shults

My second card is a clean and simple Valentine a bunch of new TE products. For this card I used Handletterd Love, Masking Stencils – Hearts, Mini Strips – Valentine, Mini Strips – Asymmetrical dies, and the adorable new acrylic heart embellishments

You are Loved, handmade valentine by Jen Shults

This card was very easy to put together. I started by layering the heart masks and stenciling on the hearts. I then heat set the ink and stamped and embossed the sentiment in silver. I die cut the heart with Stitched Square Stacklets and mounted those on a Toffee cardbase. I added a little Mini Strip sentiment at the bottom and some of the acrylic hearts and I was done! So quick and easily reproducible for making many Valentines!
