You Warm My Heart

Hi all it’s Saturday Sketch time and today we are introducing another brand new stamp set called I <3 Sweaters! This stamp set is a great all purpose winter/holiday stamp set and soooo cute. The set comes with both Anya and Ian and a really cute sentiment. The stamps will be released Monday, November 1!

Here’s the sketch:

For my card I used Ian and colored him with Primsacolors and OMS to match this gorgeous paper from Graphic 45’s Christmas Past 8″x8″ pad. Ian is stamped on PTI white cardstock. the circle behind Ian is cut with a Spellbinders die and sponged with Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Behind that is a panels of green that I embossed with a Cuttlebug snowflake folder and sponged with Tea Dye. I cut the sentiment panel using the Slice Fa La La cart and sponged it with Tea Dye and stamped the sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa. I punched a tiny 1/16″ hole in either side and wove my twine through it. The button embellishment is a PTI vintage button with a twine bow and two mittens from the Fa La La cart cut and sponged with Tea Die. I punched the little holes in it as well and then knotted the twine so the mittens hang down. The inside is decorated to coordinate.
