TE Sneak Peeks Day 3: Love Lives Here

It’s day 3 of Taylored Expressions sneak peeks! All of the products featured this week will be available on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 9 am CST.

I have two projects to share with you today! The first one features a new adorable stamp set called You Make My Heart Soar. Each of the super cute images in this set works with the die set Accordion Heart to make a floating image. I stamped the house from the set onto Sugar Cube cardstock using Oreo ink and colored the image with Copics. I used the coordinating You Make My Heart Soar dies to cut out the house. I stenciled clouds in the background using Cookie Monster ink, Set the Scene Cloud Stencil Strips and Clarity Stencil Brushes. I die cut the background using the largest Petite Scalloped Square Stacklets and stamped the sentiment in Mushroom ink. To finish I mounded the card on Fruit Punch cardstock and added a few Snow Flurries Sequins.

My second card features a brand new background stamp that I just LOVE, Backstory Valentine Background. I love how bold and graphic this background is. I started my card by ink blending (again!!) Lemon Meringue, Fruit Punch and Cookie Monster on Sugar Cube cardstock using Clarity Stencil Brushes. The inks blend perfectly together. After heat setting the ink lightly I used a powder tool to prep for embossing. I stamped the background using my MISTI and Versamark onto the blended background and embossed with TE Fine Detail Embossing Powder in White. I die cut a heart using Heart Stacklets and then stamped through the opening to the background layer using the XOXO stamp from Cutting Edge Hearts using Oreo ink. To finish up I propped the sponged layer up on foam tape and added a few Snow Flurries Sequins.
